Bruce Raymond Holman, 75, of Greenwood was called home to heaven July 26, 2020.  He was born February 3, 1945 in Beech Grove at St. Francis Hospital to Maurice Raymond and Frances Pauline (Byers) Holman.

Bruce grew up in Greenwood and graduated from Greenwood High School in 1963, then went on to receive a bachelor's degree in accounting from University of Indianapolis.  After college he married his high school sweetheart, Cynthia June Wilson and together they raised three boys.  Bruce joined the Army in 1967 and proudly served our country.  After his time in the military, he worked as an accountant for many different places.  Bruce was a man of strong faith and was one of the founding members of the Newton Christian Church in Newton, Kansas, and was also an integral part of growing the Greenwood Christian Church in Indiana.  Bruce was a car guy and loved going to the "Suds", the Dog 'N Suds, to check out the classic cars, his favorites are Corvairs and Corvettes.  He also enjoyed Indy car and NASCAR racing.  Above all, Bruce was a family man who loved spending time with his grandchildren and his cats.  He was patient and kind and will be missed by many.

Bruce will be remembered by his wife, Cynthia; sons, Daniel (Jacquie) Holman, Aaron (Melissa) Holman, and Jeremy (Kelly) Holman; grandchildren, Sydney, Thomas, Cameron, Sarah, Olivia, Connor, and Claire; sister, Charlotte Farland; twin niece and nephew, Ashley Primm and Neil Farland and their spouses; aunt and uncle Elizabeth and Ross Byers, cousins, David Byers, Dave (Donna) Holman and many friends.

In addition to his parents, Bruce was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, James Farland.

Family will receive friends Friday, July 31 from 11:30am - 1:30pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Road 135, Greenwood, IN 46143 with service to follow at 1:30pm, officiated by Pastor Shan Rutherford.
