Cardell Farley Sr., 81, of Poland, Indiana passed away June 27. 2014. He was born September 3, 1932 in Ages, Kentucky to Oscar and Viola (Boggs) Farley. On February 2, 1971 he married Rochelle Marlett. He worked as a forklift driver at General Motors for over thirty years and retired in 1996. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, and a member of Eternal Life Tabernacle in Indianapolis.
Cardell is survived by his wife Rochelle; three sons, Cardell (Vicky) Farley Jr., Ricky (Rita) Farley, and Larry Gene (Gloria) Farley Sr.; daughter Lula Ann (Dennis) Patterson; four step sons, Mike Gillham, Wayne Thomas, Bill Thomas, and John Thomas; three step daughters, Pat Perryman, Cindy Gillham, and Donna Massey; brother, Earl Farley, and one hundred and thirty eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services will be 11:30 AM Thursday July 3, 2014 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 South S.R. 135, Greenwood, IN 46143. Friends may call from 9:30 AM until time of service. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
