Carl C. Cafouros, 71 of Indianapolis passed away on Friday, August 7, 2026.He was born to the late George and Virginia (Maier) Cafouros.

Carl enjoyed games of all types. He was a big history buff. He contributed a chapter on the Greek community in Indiana in an Indiana Historical Society book titled Peopling Indiana.Carl is survived by his wife Becky (Shea) Cafouros; two children Delvan (Natalie) Roehling and Rachael (Ben) Schruben; five grandchildren and one brother Greg (Pam) Cafouros. Also, several in-laws and numerous nieces and nephews who loved him. He is proceeded in death by both parents.

A visitation will be Tuesday, August 18, 2026 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. There will be a short visitation starting at 10:00 am prior to the funeral service. A funeral service will be Wednesday, August 19, 2026 at Noon at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
