The Angels called on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 to take Carmen Luisa (DeLaCruz) Lobdell to her final destination to see her beloved Donald Keith Lobdell once again for eternity. Carmen was born August 27th 1924 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Pedro and Alicia DeLaCruz.

Carmen was one of eight children. Preceding her in passing were 3 brothers and 1 sister and grandson, Anthony H. Lobdell. Survivors include sister, Grace DeLaCruz; sons, Thomas (Janice), Timothy (Theresa), Donna Lobdell-Monroe (Gregg), Lawrence (Leslie), Ted (Debbie). Carmen gave countless hours to her 5 children, 6 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson.

She had a love for all things simple and beautiful. She will be greatly missed by all.

Visitation will be at Forest Lawn Funeral Home - 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood, Indiana on Sunday, June 1, 2014, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at SS. Francis and Clare of Assisi Catholic Church, Greenwood on Monday June 2, 2014, with additional visitation from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Alzheimer''s Association, American Heart Association, ASPCA, The Humane Society of Indianapolis.
