Mrs. Carol Ann Bohn, of Greenwood, passed away on the late afternoon of Tuesday, March 10, 2026, just days before her 79th birthday.
Carol was born March 13, 1947, in Columbus, Indiana, a daughter of the late Orron Michael and Frieda Blanche (Cooper) Marsh. She later moved to Indianapolis with her family where she attended and graduated from George Washington High School.
Throughout her life, Carol held various jobs, but she would often say that her greatest accomplishment and most cherished role was that of homemaker. She devoted herself to caring for her home and family, creating a warm and loving environment for those she loved most. Carol found joy in the simple pleasures of everyday life. She was especially fond of watching westerns and home improvement programs on television, and she greatly enjoyed spending time outdoors tending to her yard.
Carol is lovingly survived by her three sons, David (Marsha) Bohn, Paul Bohn, and Ernie Bohn; her grandchildren, Heather, Alexa, and Amber; and her great-grandchildren, Romeo, Michael, Jayla, Hunter, Abigail, James, and Jeremiah. She is also survived by her siblings, Larry Marsh, Charlie Marsh, Gary Marsh, Norman Marsh, and Mary LaRue, along with several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in passing by her beloved husband of 34 years, Philip Bohn, who passed away in 1999; and by her siblings, Fredrick Marsh, Dennis Marsh, Kenneth Marsh, and Esther Hughes.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 20, 2026, in the Benjamin Franklin Mausoleum Chapel adjacent to Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Greenwood.
Family and friends are invited to visit from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at Forest Lawn Funeral Home chapel.
Carol will be laid to rest beside her husband at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens following the services.
