Carol Sue Brown, 74 of Greenwood passed away on February 25, 2018. Carol was born in Indianapolis, Indiana to Clarence and Mary Gilpin on May 3, 1943. Carol was a loving and caring mother and grandmother. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She loved shopping, especially QVC. Carol enjoyed collecting miniature furniture, dollhouses and porcelain dolls. She made frequent trips to Gatlinburg with her beloved husband. Carol will be greatly missed by many. Carol is preceded in death by her loving husband in 2014, Robert G. Brown and her parents. Carol is survived by her sons, Robert Brown, Brian (Vicky) Brown and James 'Matt' (Patty Sparks) Brown; daughter, Julie Liggit; brothers, Danny Walters and Doug Walters; sisters, Denise Walters and Judy Black; granddaughters, Shannon (Robert) Roethemeier and Joss (Roderick) Morales; great grandchildren, Jenna Roethemeier, Jonan Morales and Maia Morales and her beloved dog, Sue Sioux. Funeral Services will be held, 2:00 PM, Friday, March 2, 2018 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Road 135, Greenwood, IN 46143 with visitation from 11:00 AM until the start of service.
