Carol Jean Lawrence, Franklin, passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2023. She was 81 years old. Carol was born in Logansport, IN to her parents Charles Arthur Titus and Julia Anne Titus. She attended Lebanon Schools in Lebanon, IN.
Carol worked as a part of the kitchen staff for Johnson Memorial Hospital and retired after many years of service. Carol was a member of Greenwood Christian Church for many years. Carol enjoyed spending time with her cherished friends and family members. Carol had a soft spot for her grandchildren and great grandchildren and always enjoyed their company. Carol loved looking through pictures of her family members, with her family members; it helped her feel more connected to them. Carol had a doll collection that she enjoyed adding to throughout the years. She was also an animal lover and leaves behind her beloved cat, Mo-Mo. The memories created will now be cherished by those she leaves behind.
Carol is survived by her children, Lisa (Robert) Rains; her bonus daughter, Sandi "Jebie" Plumlee; her grandchildren, Gary, Keith, Josh,Kyle, Dustin, Amanda, David and Jennifer; her 16 great grandchildren; her brother, Keith Duane Titus; her several nieces and nephews.
Carol is preceded in death by her parents;  her son, David Lawrence; her daughter, Cathy Ammerman; her grandson, Robert Rains Jr.; her brother, Dean Titus; her cat, Lacy.
A visitation for Carol will be held on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. The funeral service will be on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at 1:00 pm. Burial will immediately follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens at 2:00 pm.
