Carol Ann McAdams, Indianapolis, IN, passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2026. She was 76 years old. Carol was born in Indianapolis, IN to her parents Robert and Betty McAdams. As a girl she enjoyed riding bikes with friends. She graduated from Decatur Central High School in 1968. She began as a cheerleader, later becoming an active alumnus helping organize reunions.

Carol worked for the City of Indianapolis Department of Transportation. She was a long-time member of Suburban Baptist Church. A true Hoosier, she loved IU basketball and the Indianapolis Colts. Her many friendships from childhood, high school, work, and church formed the wonderful community around her. While she had many friends over the years, her best feline friend, Callie, always had a place in her heart.

Carol is survived by her nieces and nephews, Jeff (Cyndy) McIntosh and Vicki (Corey) Brown; her grand nieces and nephews, Gunnar (Maddie) Williams, Brandy (Ron) Rafail, and Ella Brown; and her great-grand nephews, Gannon, Andrew, Wyatt, Cameron, and Jamison.

Carol is preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Paula McIntosh, and her great nephew, Andrew Johnson.
