Carole Joyce Hart Sneed Butler, 78, of Lehigh Acres, Florida, former Indianapolis resident, passed away February 17, 2013. The daughter of Roy and Eunice Eaton Hart, Carole was born April 11, 1934 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Carole was a retired cashier with Marsh Supermarkets. She was a 34 year member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Lehigh Acres.

Carole is survived by her son, John H. (Anna) Sneed, III of Maryland; daughter, Robin C. (Bill) Weisel of Indianapolis; brother, Kenny Hart; sisters, Barbara Wood and Diane Haines; four granddaughters, April, Anna, Johanna and Lacey and two great-grandsons, Jared and Jackson. Besides her parents, Carole was preceded in death by husbands, John H. Sneed, Jr. and Prentice E. Butler.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. March 15, 2013 in the Ben Franklin Mausoleum Chapel at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens - 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood, where friends may call from 12:00 noon to service time. Entombment will follow services.
