Carolyn Jane Cliburn, 90, of Greenwood, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on April 24, 2016. The daughter of Charles F. and Freda R. (Koshewa) Buckrop, she was born April 25, 1925 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

After graduating from George Washington High School, Carolyn worked as a bank teller and as a receptionist in a doctor''s office. She was a member of Indianapolis First Church of the Nazarene. Carolyn enjoyed playing Bingo and dominoes.

Carolyn is survived by nephew, Gene Porter (Karen) Calvert of Plainfield; niece, Barbara (Merrill) Sims of Avon; great-nephew, Mike (Margy) Sims of Avon; caregivers, Ron and Susan Rice of Greenwood. In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Cliburn; two brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services 12:00 p.m. April 27, 2016 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home - 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood, where friends may call 10:00 a.m. to service time. Burial: Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.
