Carolyn Sue Parker Norris was born on December 29, 1946, at Kings Daughter Hospital in Madison Indiana to Claude and Norma Parker.
Preceding her in death, she will join two infant daughters; her adult son, Chad Del Norris; her first love, John William Norris; her subsequent life partner, Dennis Hall; many others who have been waiting to walk God's Garden with her.
Carolyn is survived by her daughters Dodi (Barton) Schalburg and Sherry (Larry) Walters; grandchildren, Shelby Walters, Madison Walters, Lane Walters, Kaitland (Nick) Durr, Jessie (Hollie) Schalburg, Jacob (Cayla) Schalburg, and Teighlor Schalburg; great-grandchildren, Max, Harleigh, Ash, Myla, Waylen, and Jocelyn.
Carolyn navigated this earth fueled by love of family, flowers, and faith. Despite the fact that she retired as Vice President of the corporate office of Blue Cross Blue Sheild, she would testify that her greatest achievement and most rewarding role was that of wife, mother, grandma, and great grandma. And to this, we unanimously agree.
A visitation for Carolyn will be held on Friday, July 12, 2024, at Forest Lawn Funeral Home from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. The funeral service will be on Friday, July 12, 2024, at 2:00 pm. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens on Monday, July 15, 2024, at 10:00 am.
For those choosing to make a memorial contribution, the family suggests that donations be sent to a charity of their choice or alternatively, planting a tree in her honor.
