Carrie Lyn Lawrence, 52, gained her angel wings clutched hand in hand with her loving husband Kevin D. Lawrence on January 25, 2025, in Sarasota, Florida. She was a born in Beech Grove, IN and a resident of both south Florida and Muhlenberg County, Kentucky. She was cherished and loved by all who had the privilege of knowing her and her radiant smile and personality lit up any room she walked into. The love, care and generosity that Carrie showed everyone knew no bounds. She was the most loving mother to both of her step children Nick Lawrence and Haley (Sam) Surface as well as the most loving and spoiling GiGi and Gommie to her grandchildren and niece and nephew.

Carrie and her loving husband Kevin built many businesses together throughout their journey including Material Handling Exchange, Henry Street Steel and CLL Real Estate. Carrie was also the co-founder and CEO of Coal Pick Distillery working side by side with her husband Kevin Lawrence since its inception in 2017. Through all her business ventures Carrie was always a very generous donor to multiple foundations including Breast Cancer of the Ozark's Foundation, I.W.I.N -Indiana Women In Need Foundation, Green Beret Foundation, and No Dog Gets Left Behind Foundation.

She is proceeded in death by her father Jack Bower and four legged children Kain, Samson, Cooper, and Diesel.

Survived by her husband Kevin Lawrence, Mother Sandy Bower, Brother Chad (Tonya) Bower, step son Nick Lawrence, step daughter Haley (Sam) Surface, four legged children Murphy Hicks and Huxley Roo, grandchildren Ashton, Calvin and Lana Surface, Oliver and Whitson Spence, niece Kalee Bower and nephew Quinn Bower.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to any breast cancer foundation nationwide in Carrie's name.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 1, 2025 from 11:00 AM until the time of service at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM at the Funeral Home. Private services will be held at Carrie's final resting place at her home in Kentucky.
