Carroll G. Murray, 69, of Indianapolis, passed away April 2, 2016. The son of Marnie Lee and Mary Agnes Black Murray, Carroll was born September 9, 1946, in Roda, Virginia.

An US Army veteran, Carroll served in the Viet Nam War. He was a retired truck driver, having worked for Sam Young and Oliver Trucking.

Carroll is survived by sons, Trevor (Angie) Murray of Indianapolis and Douglas (Morgan) Murray of West Lafayette, IN; siblings, Lawrence (Jean) Murray of Tampa, FL, Tom (Connie) Murray and , Howard (Lisa) Murray, both of Monticello, IN, Shirley (Harold) Shook of North Port, FL, Eleanor Cass of Jacksonville, FL, Freda Murray of Coco, FL and Jessie Hutton of Odenton, MD; grandchildren, Danielle, Tiffany, Jacob and Destiny Murray. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Harold "Mack" Murray and Vickie Murray.

Services 12:00 p.m. April 6, 2016 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home - 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood, where friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.
