Cassie Ann Johnson, Indianapolis, passed away on Monday, October 13, 2025. She was 89 years old. Cassie was born in Hyden, KY to her parents Farmer and Cora Couch.  Cassie married her husband Armon Johnson on December 13, 1969, and they shared 56 years of marriage together.
Cassie worked as a factory worker for Von Duprin and retired in 2002 after over 25 years of service. Cassie was a member of Faith Assembly of Beech Grove Church with her husband for many years. Cassie enjoyed travelling the USA. She was a good cook and lovingly provided for her family. She will be remembered for her special sense of humor and warm demeanor. Sassy Cassie will be dearly missed.
Cassie is survived by her husband, Armon Johnson; 5 children; 7 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; several siblings and half siblings.
Cassie is preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Debbie Meole; her grandson, Darius Gregory Wright.
The visitation will be Friday, October 24, 2025 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. The memorial service will be on Friday, October 24, 2025 at 4:00 pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. She will be inurned at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
