Cecilia Lynn Sledge Christian, 65, of Indianapolis, passed away August 31, 2015. The daughter of Cecil and Claudia Burns Sledge, Cecilia was born August 14, 1950 in Indianapolis.

She was a retired certified nursing assistant, having worked at St. Paul Hermitage in Beech Grove.

Cecilia is survived by her mother, Claudia Sledge of Indianapolis; sons, Richard and Jimmy Christian, both of Indianapolis; daughter, Darlene Eaton of Indianapolis; brothers, Ronnie Sledge of Chicago, IL and Robert Sledge of Indianapolis; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

There will be no visitation and funeral services scheduled at this time. Private burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.
