Cephis E. Lucas, 92 of Mooresville passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2025. He was born to the late George and Carlie Lucas.

Cephis was a big Notre Dame fan. He enjoyed watch sports horse racing. Cephis enjoy his church family at Villa Baptist Church in Indianapolis.

Cephis leaves behind a  daughter Darla (Dewey) Ferguson; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and a sister Geradine. He is proceeded in death by both parents; spouse Vernice and a daughter Sherry Tabor.

A visitation will be Thursday, June 26, 2025 at Noon until the time of service at
Forest Lawwn Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Cephis will be laid to rest next to his wife Vernice at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
