Obituary

On Friday, January 22, 2021, Chad E. Cooper passed away at the age of 40.  Chad was born in Indianapolis on March 5, 1980 to Albert and Delores Cooper.  A graduate of Center Grove High School, Chad went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree from Savannah School of Art and Design in 2003.

A talented artist Chad had a passion for drawing and painting.  He created unique and extraordinary art and had the ability to capture the essence of a person through his drawings, making them appear lifelike.  An avid music lover and collector of vinyl records, he loved music from all eras and enjoyed working as a DJ for weddings and parties around the state.

Chad was known for his big heart, kind soul, and devotion to helping others less fortunate.  He never knew a stranger and would offer you the shirt off his back.

Chad is survived by his mother, Delores E. Cooper, two brothers, a sister, several nephews, a niece, and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Albert E. Cooper.

His family will receive friends Saturday, February 6 from 1:00pm - 3:00pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Road 135, Greenwood, IN  46143.  A private funeral service will follow.
