Charles E. Burrows, 92, of Indianapolis, passed away January 28, 2013. The son of Clarence and Golden Davidson Burrows, Charles was born December 13, 1920 in Terre Haute, Indiana.

Charles was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, where he was a Quartermaster, 3rd Class. He retired from Indiana Bell Telephone Company as an engineer. He was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. February 1, 2013 in the Ben Franklin Mausoleum, Rear Chapel at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood, where friends may call one hour prior to the graveside services. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.

Charles is survived by his caregiver, Tina Tom of Indianapolis. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Anna E. Wollenweber Burrows in 2002.
