Charles Edward Cutshall, age 84, of Indianapolis, passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2014 with his family at his side. He was born December 27, 1929 in Indianapolis to William Ray and Beatrice Elva (Newbold) Cutshall.
Charles was a graduate of Arsenal Technical High School with the Class of 1948. He was an Aerospace Designer at Allison Gas Turbine in Indianapolis for 37 years and retired on January 1, 1990. Charles was a member of Garfield Heights Church of Christ for many years. He was an avid photographer and loved to build model planes. He also was a great Do-It-Yourselfer.
He married the former Imogene Hadden on April 21, 1951 and she survives him along with their son, Curt (Cheryl) Cutshall; daughter, Marla (Dan) Turner; sister, Eileen (John) Battcher; two grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Raymond Cutshall.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, February 16, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood with Brother James Hackett officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at a later date at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
