Charles D. "Don" Jones, 83, passed away January 23, 2017. He was born February 17, 1933 in Bloomington, IN to Charles and Eva Marie Jones.

Don worked for Chase Bank, retiring after 41 years of service. He was a devout catholic who attended St. Barnabas Catholic Church and was a member of the Knight of Columbus. He enjoyed boating with his family, fishing with his brother, camping and building things and spending time with his dogs, Skip and Fox.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Keith and Marvin Jones.

Don is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Delores Jones; sons, Mark G., Richard D. and Kent T. Jones; daughters, Linda K. Jones and Laura A. (Robert) Benavides; siblings, Laverne, Joanne, Homer, Carolyn and Connie; 9 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 28 from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm with a funeral service at 12:00 pm in Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Rd. 135, Greenwood. Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens Benjamin Franklin Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Southside Animal Shelter, 1614 W.
