Charles Eugene Holland, 78, passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2012. Charles was born on September 16, 1933 in Indianapolis to the late Delmas and Eileen (Evans) Holland. Charles is a U.S. Navy veteran serving from 1952-1956. He later married his love Lois Sevier.
Charles is survived by his loving wife Lois of 55 years; their children: Patricia Strawbridge (Norman); Pamela Delatore (Mark); and Peggy Holland (Jerry); sister Karen Kelsey (Dave); 11 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents; son Robert R. Holland; and brother Robert M. Holland.
Visitation will be on Friday, January 13, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Rd. 135, Greenwood. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home with full military rites honored.
