Obituary

Charles "Huck" Huckleberry, 90, passed away February 2, 2018 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

He was born January 25, 1928 in Indianapolis and was married to Bertha (Hoop) Huckleberry for 70 years, she survives.

Other survivors include; son, Dale (Sandy) Huckleberry, grandson, Alex Huckleberry; daughter, Diane Huckleberry and several nieces and nephews.

His parents, Emmett and Edith, and granddaughter, Erica Huckleberry, preceded him in death.

Huck graduated from Manual High School in 1946 and was a Korean Combat Veteran in the US Army. After serving our country, he worked as a distributor for George F Hilgimeier and Olinger. Following his retirement he worked part-time for American Industrial Corporation and then Beck Service Center.

He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather, and an avid NASCAR and Indianapolis Colts fan. He will be missed by his family, neighbors and friends.

Visitation will be from 10 am to Noon, on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 with a funeral service immediately following at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Road 135, in Greenwood, Indiana. Huck will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Operation Homefront, www.operationhomefront.net , in memory of our veteran.
