Charles "Buddy" Lynch, Indianapolis, IN passed away on Monday, July 28, 2025. He was 86 years old. Charles was born in Indianapolis, IN to his parents Ollie and Pauline Lynch. Charles married his wife, Yvonne Chaney, and they shared 64 years of marriage together until Yvonne passed away in August of 2021.
Charles worked as an Inspector for Ford Motor Company and retired in 1998 after 41 years of service. Charles was a member of Capital City Baptist Church for over 40 years. Charles enjoyed attending car shows and collecting interesting and classic vehicles. He loved attending flea markets (looking for bargains) and watching racing on TV (IndyCar and NASCAR). Charles was a generous person who never met a stranger. He would help others in any capacity, whenever he could; family, friends, and neighbors would come to rely on him for support during their trying times. Charles had a specific sense of humor that carried him and his family through life. He was a  loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather who will be dearly missed by those he leaves behind but there is the promise of seeing him again in heaven!

Charles is survived by his children, Gail Lynch, Bryan Lynch, and Sherry Dye; his grandchildren, Courtney (John) Lynch and Caitlin (Dierdre Fromberg) Dye; his great grandchildren, Lawson Lynch, Kennedy Lynch and Piper Lynch.
Charles is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Yvonne; his three sisters.
The services for Charles are private and will be held at a later date.
