Charles E. Thomas, 77, of Indianapolis passed away December 12, 2012. He was born February 17, 1935 in Franklin Co., KY to Annie Thomas. Charles was a U.S. Army Korean Conflict veteran. He married the former Lela Johnson and she preceded him in death on March 25, 2010. Charles was a Truck Driver for many years and he will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Charles is survived by his son, James Thomas; daughter, Dianna Mandrell; one brother and two sisters; several grand and great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, December 14, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Greenwood with the Rev. Danny Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.
