Charles Elmer Whitney, 68, went to be with his Lord on December 17, 2007 at Community Hospital South. He was born September 26, 1939 to the late Merle and Violet Whitney. Charles married his loving wife Janet K. Taylor on June 23, 1960. He loved reading his bible and worshiping the Lord he also loved fishing and motorcycles. Charles is survived by his loving wife Janet K.Taylor Whitney, one son Guy Whitney and his wife Debbie of Indianapolis; one daughter Sherri L. Baggett of Evansville; a sister Betty White and three grandchildren. Charles is preceded by one son Ray Andrew Whitney. Service will be at the Suburban Baptist Church, 722 E County Line Rd., Indianapolis on December 20, 2007 11:00AM, visitation will be Thursday, December 19, 2007 from 4-8 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S.
