Cheryl Allee, age 71, of South Yarmouth, MA, formerly of Indianapolis, went home to be with the Lord February 4, 2016. She was born March 6, 1944 in Indianapolis, to Joseph and Patricia (Brown) Rayman. Cheryl was a graduate of Ben Davis High School with the Class of 1962. She was an active member of the Evangelical Baptist Church. Cheryl was a lady of faith who dedicated her life to the Lord and her family. She is remembered by family and friends for her strength of character, caring nature, her wonderful sense of humor and focus on good manners and organization. Her courage through a difficult and lengthy illness never wavered with her sweet smile touching many hearts.

She married her husband Jerry Wayne Allee on September 11, 1965 and he survives along with children, Michele Louise Willey, Todd Wayne Allee, Scott Daniel Allee;
sister, Patricia J. Miller; brothers, Michael Rayman, Nicholas Rayman; 8 grandchildren, Anna, Samuel, Joseph, Elizabeth, Evelyn, Abigail, Julia, and Daniel; uncle, Keith Brown; aunt, Clara Ann Gootee; several nieces , nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 13, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood. The Funeral service will begin at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to Evangelical Baptist Church, P.O. Box 209, South Yarmouth, MA 02664. A Celebration of Life service will be held March 19, 2016 at the church.
