Chester Lecil Stover, Indianapolis, passed away on the early morning of August 25, 2022. He was 82 years old. Chester was born in Celina, Tennessee to his parents Barney and Billie Hazel Stover. Chester met his wife Margaret (Cline) Stover in Indiana and together they shared 22 years of marriage together.

Chester worked as an automotive mechanic alongside his friend Dale for many years.

Chester enjoyed watching NASCAR races and Colts football games with his family. He also enjoyed fishing throughout his life. Chester was a beloved grandfather to his grandchildren. He was always smiling and always was good company to those he touched during his life. He was a wonderful person and the memories of him will be cherished by those he leaves behind.

Chester is survived by his children Tina (Keith) Morgan and Donna Miller; his grandchildren, Amber (Tyler) Ingle, Crystal (Eric) Dillon, and Megan Morgan; his step-grandchildren, Keithy Morgan and Brooke Heckel; his great grandchildren, Haley, Hannah, Olivia, Henry, Layla, and Ellie; his step-great grandchildren Bentley and Aubrey.

Chester is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Margaret; his granddaughter, Tara Smith; his brother, Jessie Stover.

Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 pm, Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood, with Pastor Danny Thomas officiating. He will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens following the services.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood.
