Christian D. Ladd of Blue Springs, MO and Greenwood, IN passed away Monday April 3, 2017 from a sudden heart attack. He was born February 26, 1980 in Indianapolis, IN to David R. and Cathy L. (Chance) Ladd.

Chris was a 1998 Graduate of Center Grove High School where he was a (4) year Letterman in Golf and a member of the soccer team. He attended Vincennes University and played Goalie for the university's soccer team. Chris played on numerous club teams as a goalie in the Kansas City and Indianapolis area. He was known for his great tenacity and spirit in goal. Chris spent his working career in the Hotel and Food Service industry.

He is survived by his parents, David and Cathy Ladd of Greenwood, IN; sister, Michelle Hittle (Steven), nephews, Alex Amaro, Tyler Amaro, Chance Hittle, Steven Hittle Jr, niece, Bella Elizabeth Hittle; uncle, Darrell Ladd (Brenda), cousins Jimmy Ladd (Ashley), Brittany Skillman (Drew); aunt Cynthia Ladd; cousin Dee Ann Commons; uncle David Estelle; aunt Cindy Dodd (Dan) of Grandview, MO, cousins Daniel Dodd (Lyndsey), Timothy Dodd (Evelyn), Phillip Dodd (Christina); aunt Cheryl Walden (Jerry), cousins Jeremy Walden, Ashley Walden; He was proceeded in death by his grandparents, James and Frances Ladd, Elmer and Alice Chance; aunt Carol (Ladd) Commons, uncle Rick Commons, cousin Ricky Commons; aunt Brenda (Ladd) Estelle.

Chris will always be remembered for his bright smile, kind spirit and good heart. Gone now, but never to be forgotten by his many friends and family. May God rest his soul in peace and love always.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. April 10, 2017 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood, where friends may call after 5:00 p.m.
