Christine Marie Hampton, age 32 of Carmel, died at 11:12pm Sunday, April 19th at Wishard Hospital. She was born July 8, 1976 in Indianapolis to Barry E. and Gay (Pagel) Hampton who survive.
Christine graduated from Southport High School and in 1998 graduated from Ball State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice. She was also a member of the Delta Zeta Sorority at Ball State. Christine worked as a property adjuster with Allstate Insurance Company for 7 years and with Hartford Insurance for 3 years. She was currently employed with City Securities as an administrative assistant.
She is survived by her parents; one sister, Jennifer (Scott) Cochran; one niece, Grace and one nephew, Jared; her Grandmother, Dinorah Hampton; and several beloved aunts, uncles and cousins.
Christine loved animals and was a foster parent for several animal rescue agencies around Indianapolis. She loved to laugh and made friends wherever she went. She had many close friends whom she loved dearly. She will be missed by those who knew and loved her.
A service will be held at 7:00pm Thursday, April 23rd at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 South State Road 135 in Greenwood, IN 46143. Visitation will be from 4pm until 8pm on Thursday at the funeral home.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Humane Society of Hamilton County, 1721 Pleasant Street, Noblesville, IN 46060.
