Obituary of Christine Faye Howard May 23, 1920-October 23, 2008 Christine Faye Howard, 88, of Greenwood, died afternoon of October 23, 2008 at Regency Place of Greenwood. She was born on May 23, 1920 in Duckers, KY to Robert and Corine (Long) Purvis. Christine married Luther Howard who preceded her in death. Mrs. Howard was a member of Bay Pine Christian Church in St. Petersburg, FL. Mrs. Howard is survived by one son Robert L. (Jeanne) Howard; one daughter: Shirley (Gary) Kinnett. Christine had 20 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren Mrs. Howard was preceded in death by her parents, husband; one brother Cecil Purvis. Visitation for Mrs. Howard will be at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. St. Rd 135, Greenwood, IN 46143 starting on Monday October 27th from 2pm to 6pm and from 1pm until time of service on Monday. Service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Monday October 27th at the funeral home.
