Claire M. Dixon 87, of Greenwood, IN passed away June 9, 2013. She was born November 2, 1925 in Indianapolis to the late Edward and Bertha (Mason) Louis. She married Robert Dixon on February 14, 1947; he preceded her in death in 1989.
She worked as a homemaker and volunteered for Community Hospitals Auxiliary
for many years. She was a member of Center Grove Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include three sons, Steve (Becky) Dixon, David (Denise) Dixon, and Gregg (Janet) Dixon; five grandchildren, Stephanie (Joseph) Dunn, Stacy Dixon, Luke (Caryn) Dixon, Daniel Dixon, and Elizabeth Dixon. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, five sisters and two brothers. Funeral Services will be Thursday June 13, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Greenwood, IN. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, or Community Hospitals Auxiliary.
