Obituary

Clarence Lee Byrum 71, of Greenwood, passed away on Thursday, February 18, 2010. He was born in Indianapolis, IN to the late Clarence and Dorothy Byrum. Clarence served his country as a proud member of the Armed Forces. He was a member of the Olive Branch Christian Church of Greenwood, the American Legion, and the VFW. Clarence was employed at Citizens Gas as a service man for 38 years. Survivors include his loving wife, Jean Anne Byrum; one son, Rocky (Mary) Byrum of Greenwood; one daughter, LeAnn (Tim) Kavanaugh of Greenwood; one sister, Norma Day (Fred) of Leesburg, FL; and four grandchildren, Kerri and Kyle Byrum and Kody and Katie Kavanaugh. Preceeding him in death was one brother, Johnny L. Byrum. Family and friends will gather on Monday, February 22, 2010 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. A service will be held on Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. also at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
