Clarence Joseph Strubbe, age 80 of Greenwood, IN died July 9th at St. Francis Hospital South. Born December 1, 1928 in Sioux City, Iowa. In October of 1977 at the Calvary Baptist Church in Greenwood, he married Pauline Sears-Nesvarba. Clarence retired as a maintenance man from LTV Steel and J&L Steel. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Greenwood and of the Order of Free Masons. He loved to work jigsaw puzzles, do gardening and yard work and dearly loved his grandchildren and spending time with his family. Survivors include his wife Pauline, daughters Susan (Andrew) Robertson and Tracey (Chuck) Hagedon; 5 Grandchildren: Ryan (Cheryl) Robertson, Erin Robertson, Sam Robertson, Jennifer Hagedon and Thomas Hagedon; 3 Great-Grandchildren: Cooper, Colton and Hope Robertson. Clarence was preceded in death by his parents. Services will be 1:00pm Tuesday, July 14th at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 South State Road 135 in Greenwood, IN 46143. Visitation will be Monday from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Memorials can be made to the Johnson County Humane Society.
