Clayton R. Stuart, 79, of Greenwood, died January 25, 2008 at McCormick''s Creek Residence Center in Spencer, IN. He was born on June 4, 1928 to Walter and Cleo Price Stuart.
Clayton graduated from the Soldiers and Sailors High School in Knightstown, IN and was employed as an Area Supervisor for the White Castle Systems for over 40 years. He enjoyed bowling, woodworking, gardening, playing cards, but will be remembered mostly as a hardworking family man.
Survivors include his wife: Cemilee Short Stuart, whom he married on November 9, 1954, two sons: Ken (Kim) Dodson, James Stuart, two daughters: Chris(George) Shepherd, Debbie (Mike) Durham, one brother: Charles Stuart, five grandchildren: Sherry Barnett, Jeff Shepherd, Michael Dodson, Brian Durham, Ricky Dodson, nine great grandchildren, one great great grandson.
He is preceded in death by his parents, one son: Jerry Stuart, one brother: Virgil Stuart, one sister: Ida Louise and one grandson: John Durham.
Funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 State Rd. 135 on Wednesday, January 30, 2008.
