Mr. Clyde Ewing Calvert, Stilesville, passed away on the afternoon of Monday, January 4, 2021 at Hendricks Regional Hospital. He was 82. Clyde was born January 2, 1939 in Scottsville, Kentucky a son of the late Carline and Vera Pervie (Carter) Calvert.

Clyde had been employed at the Ford Motor Company in production for over 35 years and was a member of the United Auto Workers Local 1111. He had also been a committeeman with the Union for 10 years while at Ford. He was of the Pentecostal faith. Clyde enjoyed taking care of his yard and especially loved his family and the time they spent together.

Clyde is survived by his wife of 65 years, Judith C. (Stover) Calvert; his children, Clyde C. Calvert and Timothy (Jodie) Calvert; his grandchildren, Steven Calvert, Shawna Morrison, Lyrick Calvert and Alexis Calvert; five great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; his siblings, Richard (Lori) Calvert, Ray (Tracy) Calvert and Annetta (David) Lawver as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in passing by an infant son and a sister, Carolyn Anderson.

Services will be conducted at 11:00 am, Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood with burial following at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends form 4:00 until 6:00 pm, Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at the funeral home.
