Daisie S. Atkins, 89, passed away January 22, 2011 in Greenwood, IN. She was born May13, 1921 to the late Elmer and Inez Silverman. She married Robert M. Atkins, who preceded her in death in 1993. She is survived by her son, Mark D. Atkins, daughter-in-law Rene S. Atkins, and 4grandchildren. She was a member of Southport Heights Christian Church for 50 years, and worked as a secretary for Pittman-Moore and Hugh J. Baker & Co. Family and friends will gather in Forest Lawn Funeral Home on Saturday, January 29, 2011 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM with a service immediately following also at the funeral home.
