Dale Allen Luther, Sr., 58, passed away November 4, 2012 at his Indianapolis residence. The son of Denzil and Ruth Luther, Dale was born September 16, 1954 in Indianapolis.

For 32 years, retiring in December 2011, Dale was employed with the City of Indianapolis, where he was a member of Local Union #725.

Dale is survived by his wife, Jennifer "Jenny" Penrose Luther; children, Brandi Harris (Phillip) and Dale Luther, Jr.; mother, Ruth Luther; brothers, Donald Luther, Mark Luther (Dianna); grandchildren, Caleb and Nevah Harris. Dale was preceded in death by his father, Denzil and a brother, Kevin Luther.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. November 7, 2012 in Forest Lawn Funeral Home - 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood. Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. November 6, 2012 at the funeral home.
