Dan Suttles, 77 of Franklin, IN passed away on December 20, 2011 at his residence. He was born December 18, 1934 in Evarts, KY the son of the late, George and Mary (Allen)Suttles. Dan was also preceded in death by a daughter, Tina Thomas, a grandson, Tommy Suttles and brothers, Clark and Bud Suttles. He was a U.S. Marine Corp veteran. He was a former member of the 1st Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church of Franklin, IN. He also was a member of the North American Fishing Club and the NRA. Dan founded, and was the owner operator of A-1 Septic Company until his retirement in 1996. He is survived by his loving wife, Hazel (Burton) Suttles; his children, Tim (Linda), Tom, and Danny Suttles and Robin (Dave)McGowan, Tammy (Jerry) Stogsdill; his siblings, Joe Elliott, Pitis Suttles and Lynn Fry; 12 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday 4 to 8pm (12-22-11) in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens and Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday (12-23-11)at 1pm in the funeral home.
