Daniel Patrick Gaughan, 56, of Indianapolis, passed away surrounded by his loving family, February 20, 2013. He was born July 6, 1956 in Bridgeport, Connecticut to John and Ann (Walsh) Gaughan; she survives. Daniel was a graduate of Andrew Warde High School in Fairfield, Connecticut. He was a production supervisor for Ingredion Inc. in Indianapolis. Daniel was a volunteer of the Warren Township Fire Department from 1980 to 1991, could fix anything and loved his dogs. His proudest moments of his life were every day of his daughter's life. Daniel is also survived by his daughter, Shannon (fianc Jeffery Foreman) Gaughan; twin sister, Kathy (Mike) Sweeney; sister, Ann (Gary) Michek;former wife, Michelle Gaughan; nephews, Tim Sweeney, John Gaughan III, Ken Michek; niece, Katie Trennepohl; and many special colleagues on his work team. He was preceded in death by his brother, John Gaughan Jr., and followed in death by his father, John Gaughan, Sr., (February 23, 2013). A memorial service will be held March 9, 2013 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Greenwood from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
