Daniel Gene Heady, age 20 of Franklin, died Sunday, July 19, 2009 at Parkview Hospital in Ft. Wayne. Born March 16, 1989 in Beech Grove, he was the son of Darrell and Debora (Burkhalter) Heady. Daniel was a Junior at Franklin High School. Always smiling, he loved school and being around people. He also loved to fight with Dad, be outside, listen to music and be on the go especially going to Grandma''s house. Survivors include his parents, sister Shannon Montgomery Ratliff; Grandparents Anita Burkhalter, Theresa and Stanley Montgomery. He also had lots and lots of cousins, Aunts and Uncles. Daniel was preceded in death by Grandparents Clarence Burkhalter, Donna Smith and Darrell Heady, Sr. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 22nd from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Road 135 in Greenwood. Service will be Thursday at 11:00am at the funeral home with entombment following in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
