Darlene J. Fendley, age 57, of Indianapolis passed away April 19, 2010 at her residence. Darlene was born May 8, 1952 in Beech Grove to Darwin and Ann M. Wiese Smith. She was a Custodian with M.S.D. of Wayne Township. She married her husband George Fendley August 9, 1966 and he survives, along with daughters Darlene (Toby) Green, Crystal (Jim) Howell, Sabrina (Michael) Helber, and adopted daughter Misty Jo; sisters Mary (Tom) Kindred, Debbie Smith, Glenda Phillips; three granddaughters, 8 grandsons, 2 great grandchildren and several Nieces and Nephews; as well as lifelong friends, Joe and Amanda Jones. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Brenda Smith. Funeral services will be Thursday, April 22 at 10:00AM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood, with visitation Wednesday April 21 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
