Mr. David Anthony Dugger, Speedway, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, December 18, 2021. He was 57. David was born October 16, 1964 in Indianapolis, Indiana a son of William and Delores (Flaherty) Dugger.

David was a graduate of Decatur Central High School and been employed as an over-the-road-driver and had most recently driven for Knight Transportation. David spent some of his leisure time cooking and grilling, so much so that he could often be seen grilling outside during the winter months. He also took pleasure in caring for his flower and vegetable gardens.

David enjoyed shopping on Deal Dash, listening to classic rock music and watching Fox News. He especially enjoyed the Christmas season and looked forward to wrapping the gifts. David deeply loved his family and treasured the time they could be together.

David is survived by his wife, Evelyn (Coffelt) Dugger; his daughters, Ashley (Eric) Ebey, Delores Jane 'DJ' (Dustin) Mann and Christina (John) French; his grandchildren, William French, Dylon French, Ethan Ebey and Alexis Mann; his parents, William and Delores Dugger; his brothers, William (Celli) Dugger, Ricky (Debbie) Dugger and Chris Dugger as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 pm, Monday, January 3, 2022 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood, with burial following at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home.

For those choosing to make a memorial contribution, the family has suggested those be offered to the American Heart Association.
