David Alvin Ford, 66, of Beech Grove passed away November 1, 2017. He was born June 2, 1951 in Muncie, IN to Leon E. and Doris J. (Gabriel) Ford.

David graduated from Bed Davis high school and proudly served his country in the Air force for short term. He went to a trade school for electronics and owned a sign business while raising his daughter. He worked as a maintenance man and drove a truck for Wilco Supply.

David was preceded in death by his grandparents and parents, one sister, two brothers and a newphew.

He is survived by his loving wife, Cynthia Ann Ford of Beech Grove; daughters, Cara Ford of Indianapolis and Sara (Matthew) Pope of Greenfield, IN; brothers, Michael (Heidi) Ford of Greenwood, IN, Lee Ford of Indianapolis, IN and Jeff Ford of Indianapolis, IN; sister, Nancy (Shelby) Duncan; grandchildren, Jacob Skaggs, Angelo Ford, Sean Poteet, Kimberly Skaggs and Stefonya Shirhall; many nieces and newphew and great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 6 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm with a funeral service at 1:00 pm in Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Rd. 135, Greenwood. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
