Obituary

David "Dave" Bruce Hall, Indianapolis, passed away on the early morning of Thursday, May 25, 2023. He was 73 years old. David was born in Columbus, IN to his mother, Leona Lee. He graduated from Columbus High School, class of 1967 and attended Franklin College, where he graduated with a bachelor's degree of Biology, class of 1971. David married his wife, Tarla, on December 19, 1975 and together they shared 48 years of marriage together.
David worked as an electrical engineer for Microwave Devices- Franklin and retired in  2013 after many years of service. David was always one to appreciate nature in a variety of ways; he could often be found hunting (both turkey and deer), bicycling, and hiking. David was a trivia whiz and loved to watch Jeopardy with his family and friends. David loved to spend time with his family who will now remember his humor, intelligence and generosity for years to come.
David is survived by his wife, Tarla Hall; his son, David (Becky) Hall; his step-grandchildren, Jesse Daniels and James Daniels; his sister, Julia Bayless; his nieces and nephews, Melinda, Melanie, Marlissa, Megan, Ethan, and Hunter.
David  is preceded in death by his mother; his mother-in-law, Betty Posey; his sister, Judith.
A visitation for David will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2023 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home (1977 S SR 135, Greenwood, IN, 46143) from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
