David E. Harrison, 87, of Indianapolis passed away June 1, 2016. He was born October 8, 1928 to Charles and Mary Rose Harrison.
David proudly served his country in the United States Army during WWII. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Southport and numerous dance clubs. He enjoyed entering contests, birdwatching, dancing, golfing and fishing. David also enjoyed spending time at the casino with his brother, Jim.
He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Geneva Harrison and his second wife, Edell Harrison; son, Steven (Debbie) Harrison; siblings, Wilbur, Mable, Susie, Bertha, Lillian, Fred and Anabel.
David is survived by his children, Mike (Stella) Harrison, Sandy (Gayle) Harrison; stepsons, Mike, Patrick and Kevin Murray; last living brother, James Harrison; 7 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 7 from 12 pm - 2 pm with a funeral service at 2 pm in Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Rd. 135, Greenwood.
