Dr. David "Dave" L. Moser, 69 of Greenwood went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, September 21, 2023. He was born to the late Clarence and Wauneta Moser on October 14, 1953 in New Albany, Indiana.

David is survived by his loving wife and caregiver of 40 years Bonny Moser; sister Anita Owen; brother William (Connie) Moser and nice and nephews Angie (Ed) Domek, Robin (Eric) Knabel and Mike Moser. He is proceeded in death by a brother Robert (Sue) Moser.

David graduated from Clarksville High School where he was a star basketball player. From high school David went to Indiana University in Bloomington and Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis. At the beginning of his career, he spent three years as the Chief Medical Officer at Morgantown, West Virginia Minimum Security Prison followed by years of practice as a talented emergency care Physician.

Dave had many talents and hobbies which included researching the American Civil War , traveling to the Civil War Battlefields and reenactments and consulting games built around the Civil War. He also loved to read, playing chess and online games with friends.

Dave was a member of New Hope Church . He will always be remembered and missed  by all of us for his love of family, clever sense of humor , love of animals, story-telling and a vast collection of sloths.

Visitation will be Friday, September 29, 2023 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home from 11:00 AM until the time of service. Funeral service will begin at 1:00PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
