Mrs. Deanna Marie Angrick, of Franklin, passed away on the afternoon of Friday, April 10, 2026, having attained the age of 85 years. Deanna was born on June 20, 1940, in Beech Grove, Indiana, a daughter of the late Charles Edward and Doris Gertrude (Robertson) Heeringa.

Deanna attended Southport High School and was a proud member of the graduating class of 1958. Throughout her life, Deanna worked in various roles, but she found her greatest joy and fulfillment in being a homemaker, devoted to caring for her home and family. She was a member of Fair Haven Christian Church and treasured her time spent with the Heeringa family card club, a tradition she enjoyed for 60+ years.

Deanna embraced life with enthusiasm and a love for the outdoors. She enjoyed bowling and participated in several local leagues over the years. She also found happiness in boating, water skiing, fishing, and camping. Whether watching birds visit her yard or spending time in nature, she found peace and joy in the simple moments. Above all, Deanna cherished her family. She considered them her greatest accomplishment and delighted in spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, always doting on them with love and pride.

Deanna is survived by her children, Beth (Brian) Baird and Wayne Angrick (fiancé, Kim); her grandchildren, Renae (Kelly) Fife, Ryan (Allison) Baird and Quinn (Jessica) Angrick; nine great-grandchildren; her sister, Margaret Donovan; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 66 years, Maurice Vincent “Skip” Angrick, Jr.; and her siblings, Charlene Donovan and Charles Heeringa.

Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 PM, Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Greenwood, with Pastor Brett Baird officiating. Deanna will be laid to rest beside her husband at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens following the service.

Family and friends may gather to share and remember from 11:00 AM until the time of service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
