Debra Dee Owen Meadows (Deb), 69, born on March 5, 1957, passed away at St. Francis Hospital on July 13, 2026 at 10:29pm. Born to Richard and Jeanne Owen in Fillmore, Indiana, Deb (as everyone close to her, knew her), moved to Green Castle, Indiana her Junior year of High School. Deb graduated from South Putnam High School in the class of 1975.

Deb attended Indianapolis State University, and studied business. Deb had many employers including: Farm Bureau Ins., MDWise, and The Indianapolis Blood Center.

The joys of Deb’s life were her two children; Ashley and Owen; her two grandchildren Alaina and AJ; and her great- grandson, (her pride & joy) Bentley. Deb enjoyed going out with friends, shopping, and taking care of Alaina, Aj, and Bentley. When she had the extra time, she would watch Hallmark Movies, QVC, The Voice, American Idol, and The Masked Singer .


She is survived by her loving family; sister, Linda Owen; daughter, Ashley Morgan; son, Owen Hobein; granddaughter; Alaina Jean Nuñez; grandson Aj Nuñez; great grandson, Bentley Edward Logan Weaver; And many friends and cousins .

Deb’s legacy will be remembered by all of her family and friends. May her memory bring comfort to all who knew her.

A visitation for Deb will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral home on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm. The funeral service will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home on July 28,2026, a 12:00 pm. Deb will be laid to rest immediately following the services.
