Diana Grace Joseph, Indianapolis, passed away Tuesday, July 25,  2023. She was 72 years young. Diana was born in Beech Grove, Indiana to her parents, Allen and Imogene Turk. She graduated from Emmerich Manual High School and attended Ivy Tech Community College where she studied Licensed Practical Nursing. Diana married her high school sweetheart, Richard Joseph, on July 2, 1970, and they just recently celebrated 53 years of marriage.
Diana worked as a Media Center Secretary for Franklin Central High School and retired in 2000 after 20 years of service. Diana was a member of Saint John's Lutheran Church with her husband and kids for many years. Diana enjoyed traveling with her husband during his trade-show setups across the U.S. She also enjoyed traveling to different cities around the world, including Canada and even as far as Dubai, UAE.
Diana enjoyed shopping anywhere in the world and loved frequenting garage sales with her sisters, Tina and Gail. She enjoyed vacationing at places such as Panama City Beach, Florida with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also loved New Orleans, however, one of her favorite places to visit was the many lighthouses of Michigan, as each of them has their own unique look and story. Lighthouses held a special place in her heart.
Diana is survived by her husband, Richard Joseph; her children, Kevin (April) Joseph and Lisa (Marty) Tetrick; her grandchildren, Brendon Taylor, Madison Taylor, Reegan Joseph, and Lillyanna Joseph as well as her sisters, Gail Keesee and Tina Langley.
Diana is preceded in death by her parents; Allen and Imogene Turk and her brother, John Turk.
A memorial visitation for Diana will be held from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm, Saturday, July 29, 2023 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Road 135, Greenwood, Indiana 46143.
