Diana Lynn Mandrell, Indianapolis, passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2025. She was 74 years old. Diana was born in Indianapolis, IN to her parents Marvin Brunnemer and Lela Evelyn Thomas. Diana married her husband, Edsel Mandrell, and together they shared many years of marriage until Edsel passed away on April 28, 2019.
Diana worked as a machinist for IMC and retired after many years of service. Diana was a believer in the Lord and was comforted by His word. Diana enjoyed gardening; she planted and cared for flowers all over her property dutifully for many years. She was known to love being outdoors and going fishing during her free time. Diana also enjoyed cooking and eating alongside her beloved family. Her kindhearted and generous personality will be dearly missed by those she leaves behind.
Diana is survived by her son; Randal (Roxanne) Mandrell; her daughter-in-law, Diane "Dee-Dee" Mandrell; her grandchildren, Tiffany (Clayton) Tharp, Samantha Mandrell, Ashlee, and Lynnette Britt; her great grandchildren, Hayden and Raelynn, and several others; her brother, David Brunnemer.
Diana is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edsel Mandrell; her son, Lee Marvin Mandrell; her sister Sandy.
A visitation for Diana will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at Forest Lawn Funeral Home from 9:30am to 11:30 am. The funeral service will be on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at 11:30am. Burial will immediately follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens at 12:30pm
